Shore birds in Illinois? Yes! On the shores of Lake Michigan, many different species of shore birds can be found, from plovers to sandpipers and yellowlegs. Join us as we investigate the world of Lake Michigan shore birds, learning what makes them different from other birds, their life history, and how to identify different species. Supplemental classroom resources will be provided. Professional Development Hours are available.
